Dr. Peter is the owner and senior vet at Pet Doctors. Dr. Peter opened the very first Pet Accident and Emergency Service on the Gold Coast in 2001 after many years working in England. For the past 15 years he has worked effortlessly to bring his vision to life – to create a local veterinary practice in the Palm Beach area that offers modern diagnostic facilities to support veterinary care advancements and a practice where all our clients receive outstanding personalised care. He has worked in over 40 practices both in Australia and UK and brings a wealth of experience to Pet Doctors, including emergency and critical care, complementary medicine and acupuncture as well as general veterinary practice. He has a keen interest in surgery, especially orthopedic. Away from Pet Doctors you’ll find Dr. Peter flying down the hills of the Nerang State Forest on his mountain bike with mates, two sons Jackson and Nicholas and their Labrador X Ollie.

Dr. Dylan officially joined the Pet Doctors team at the start of 2019 after being a locum with us for a little while. After qualifying from Onderstepoort in South Africa he worked in a mixed practice which saw him doing everything from thoroughbred stud work to managing alpaca herds! Looking to travel and explore Europe with his wife Mary-Anne, he then moved to the UK where he worked with horses and small animals for 3 ½ years before swapping his raincoat for sunglasses and moving to the Gold Coast. In his spare time he enjoys running, surfing, playing golf and spending quality time with his wife and his two beautiful children, Harrison and Lily. Dr. Dylan has a hyperactive Jack Russell cross called Gary, and a rescue cat called Chicken Wanda Wendy!

Tara joined the Pet Doctors Team in April 2011 as a Trainee Veterinary Nurse. Prior to working at Pet Doctors, Tara indulged her love of birds by working for an avian vet for 3 years. Originally from Melbourne, Tara and her family packed up and headed for the warmth of the Gold Coast 15 years ago and Tara hasn’t looked back. Tara completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing ahead of schedule in 2013, and has been with us ever since! Tara spends her free time with her three beautiful children and looking after her two cats Raven and Joey, and her aviary of birds!

Carolyn is one of our longest standing team members as she first joined the Pet Doctors team back in 2011! Carolyn qualified as a vet nurse in 2005, and as well as looking after companion animals she also has a wealth of experience in looking after our native wildlife and is also a vet nurse at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. Fun fact about Carolyn's fur baby family - 3 out of 4 of them don't have tails! Duke and Pearl are Aussie Shepherds, and rescue cat Ace is a Manx cross, and they are all natural bobtails. Vader the Belgian Shepherd Groenendael, however, has the longest, waggiest tail ever! Carolyn loves being part of the Pet Doctors team and says that it is like her second family, and she loves how supportive her teammates are in both work and personal life.

Georgi joined the team as a trainee nurse at the beginning of 2020 with a BSc in Zoology and experience in vet nursing at a country practice in the UK. She became our Practice Manager in 2022, shortly before completing her Cert IV in vet nursing. When she is not at the clinic, Georgi is usually eating cake at The Paddock, sitting in the sunshine with a good book, trying unsuccessfully to grow things in her garden, or enjoying one of the Gold Coast’s beautiful beaches with her husband Duncan and her daughters Chloe and Phoebe. Georgi has two super cute Cavalier King Charles Spaniels called Pippin and Wilfred, and a sweet rescue cat called Cali.

Lianna joined the Pet Doctors team in March 2022 after moving to Australia from Kaikoura in New Zealand, 'where the mountains meet the sea'. She grew up on a sheep and cattle farm and knew that she wanted to be a vet nurse from a very young age. Lianna has two handsome Huntaway dogs, Gus and Ace, who are brothers from the same litter! Lianna's favourite aspect of her job is when she gets to scrub in and help with complex surgical procedures, and when she is not at work she enjoys reading, gardening and baking.

Amber first started at Pet Doctors in March 2020, and gained her Cert IV in Veterinary nursing very shortly afterwards. In 2023 she pursued her love of vet nursing even further and became a Registered Veterinary Nurse. Her furbaby family includes Sash and Olly the Border Collies and Benji Buttons the Cattle Dog cross, who she loves to take out on walks and do trick training with. She also has a beautiful rescue cat called Mish. In her spare time Amber enjoys crafting, DIY projects, and baking. She has a particular interest in animal behaviour and loves working closely with our more anxious patients to help them feel more comfortable during their visits.

Morgan first came to Pet Doctors as a work experience student back in 2021, and we loved her so much that we then employed her as our Animal Assistant! She completed her Cert II in Animal Studies in 2022, and is currently studying for her Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing. In her spare time, Morgan enjoys going to the beach, reading, and petsitting. She also loves spending time with her gorgeous cats, Bean and Lunar, and her crazy Jack Russell Terrier, Rocco. Morgan is enjoying becoming more hands on with patients as she works through her studies, and particularly enjoys radiography.
